Paulina Seyfried (she/her) describes herself as white, queer, and disabled.
From a crip-queer perspective, she works as an applied researcher on the themes of weakness and new institutional models, as well as a cultural producer and mediator in collaborative, interdisciplinary projects. Besides that, she is a companion for organisational development. Besides various independent projects like Bedarfsgemeinschaft, Paulina Seyfried has worked for Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum, for the Creative Europe project Islands of Kinship, Festival Theaterformen and un-label. She was head of management for insert female artist and head of the residency programme at Akademie der Künste der Welt. At the moment, she is head of the residency format modes of access, a cooperation between Stiftung Künstlerdorf and Kaethe:k Kunsthaus.
2025 Paulina was a mentee at Gropius Bau. Funded by the “pik – Programme for Inclusive Artistic Practice” of the Kulturstiftung des Bundes (German Federal Cultural Foundation). Funded by the Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien (Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media).
In 2021 she received the research and work grant for visual arts from the city of Cologne, from which her mapping Manege der Gegenwart (Arena of Contemporaneity) developed. Paulina has been part of the Advisory Board of cultural office by the City of Cologne between 2022-2025.
